This is a response to Coral Penelope Lambert’s story of her teenage years in Thamesmead. I found this story extremely poetic and I visualized it in my mind so well as I was listening to the conversation! The drawing is my interpretation of Thamesmead and her metaphor of “Coming to Age” in the late 70s.
