Whilst listening to Sharron, I was able to pick up on how, although initially she found Thamesmead isolating and bleak, she discovered the beauty of the town through cycling which is what I wanted to interpret through my embroidered piece.

The bicycle obviously represents the cycling that Sharron enjoys and then I took an image of Gallions Reach Park to embroider in the wheel to represent the haven that she was able to fall in love with.
